Emory New Nurse Grad Residency Program March 2016

Hi! I have looked around, but I could not find any posts about the March 2016 Residency Program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA so...I thought I would make one :-)

Has anyone else applied or does anyone have any info about the overall process? Thanks in advance!

Hi I am joining late, but I have been following your chat. I too applied and have a interview for Emory Hospital on 30 Oct at 8:30 AM. The question I have is how do you know what you are interviewing for. I put the ER as my first choice and women services as my second choice. When I received my confirmation email it did not state what position I would be interviewing for. Did anyone else have this problem? I feel very confused at this point not really knowing what position I am interviewing for. I have left messages and emails with HR with no respond back.

Hi and congrats! Have you tried emailing the recruiter that sent you the interview email?

only [email protected] emailed me saying oct 30 with the questionnaire, otherwise I have not had a recruiter contact me..

And that is the email address I returned my questionnaire answers to.

Hmm...I really don't know for sure how to answer because the email I received came with different packets of info along with interview instructions. Does anyone else have any ideas??

I'm getting so nervous because I don't have an idea what time my interview is or for what position! And I'm out of state

I also haven't heard anything since the questionnaire! I put women's health first, and ED. Have only ICU people heard so far? Fingers crossed and good luck everyone!

Did you also receive the email from [email protected] with just the questionnaire attached?

My email was from a recruiter with a packet of information as well.

I too don't know exactly what position im interview from. I am going to guess that it is based on the preferences.

Yes I emailed her, but no response yet. I received the email with all the paper work attached as well, but within that paper work I did not see what position I am interviewing for. I am starting to assume it is for my first choice since I did not get a email stating I could not interview for that area. I am really lost. I am from out of state as well. Florida. I believe my recruiter's name is Alison Crider -- does anyone also have her or happen to have her email address?

Or if someone could please send me their recruiter's email so I can get in touch with HR somehow!

Thanks! Yes- I'm doing 120 hours in ICU step down now for my last trimester and my I've had some experience in ICU with clinicals throughout nursing school.

Ahh, nice! I'm on the hunt now for a possible internship or job shadowing to gain a little ICU experience. It sounds like from these posts that if you don't have prior experience Emory will not honor your wishes for ICU ... :nailbiting: but maybe I will get lucky and find something *fingers crossed*

Yes. Around Sept. 9. And nothing since. Not sure if maybe everyone gets the questionnaire? It's such a vague email! But I'm out of state and running out of time for booking flights, so fingers crossed we get some sort of clarification soon!
