Emory New Nurse Grad Residency Program March 2016

Published

Hi! I have looked around, but I could not find any posts about the March 2016 Residency Program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA so...I thought I would make one :-)

Has anyone else applied or does anyone have any info about the overall process? Thanks in advance!

Hey. The email with the questionnaire just told everyone in general that interviews will be conducted on the 30th. You should receive another email from an actual recruiter detailing when, where and who you will be interviewing with. I just got mine today.

Just got mine today as well! But it's for an interview in a specialty I didn't select. So it looks like they're still working on sending out interviews after they filled people's top choices. Good luck everyone!

Congrats! I hope we all get accepted! This is such a BIG THING!

Hey everyone! So I was reading through the attachments and noticed that the interview information document says that you can "You will be allowed to interview with two departments of your choosing"

Does anyone have any clarity on this? My interview is for a med/surg unit for a specific time. Does that mean I can complete one other interview with another department? Two others? Or should we assume we only have confirmed interviews? Thanks!

I did! I'm so excited!! What time is your interview?

Nervous as well lol. I wonder what our chances are of getting hired since we have an interview 😁😁

Mine is at 2:30. And you'll do great (:Good luck!

Anyone else have to submit their references?

I haven't been told to yet. When did they ask you to?

I am not sure! I asked my recruiter because I didnt get my first choice either, and she said at this time they are only allowing one interview per candidate -- then I read the attached documents to the email and am confused too!

I have an interview with the critical care residency (ccu/cvicu) with emory st. joseph's at 11 and an interview with the general residency through emory university hospital at 1. My email giving me the time was somewhat vague on what I actually got for that one but my recruiter (Alison Crider) did email me before asking for my preference in ICU and I said neuro/cvicu and then I got my time so I'm assuming/hoping that. I also got my email today asking for the five references. Anyone know the chances for getting hired after one of their interviews?? I'm really nervous about the panel style interview! Also congratulations to everyone else interviewing and good luck! I'm sure I'll be seeing some of you there!

I haven't been asked for references and now I'm scared 😓
