The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

I think they do not interface too much with the application itself online and instead may be working behind the scenes.
I have also seen other posters state on this forum that they started to see things checked off the week of the admission decision.
I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Also, in respect to having enough seats....which semester did you apply for?
Keep positive with the process. I think what gets to us most about this process is that Emory doesn't update the application portal as they go along. I have seen Duke do this very well. Vanderbilt's application portal is a ghost town since October 2020.....and I have 2 weeks left for a decision from them (current status is still "submitted")
All the very best and good luck!
Oh, that makes me feel better; at least it’s not hanging out somewhere in the internet nether regions!
So, I finally got admitted last night to WHNP AMSN after switching from CNM which was full. I applied in October. While I’m happy I got in, I’m also not taking the prerequisites required because I was not made aware of my status in time (posted deadline). :( it’s a good thing though. I won’t be tempted to spend so much more money on Emory just because I can. Haha. I’ll be attending Augusta University’s MSN CNL program.

Good luck! I’m attending Northeastern for many reasons and I’m happy with my decision, I’m sure you will be too.

Congratulations as well! I think it's so important to consider all the factors when selecting a program. For me, it's great that Emory accepted me but the tuition cost is prohibitive for me without scholarships. I am sure you will do absolutely well at Augusta.

when does Northeastern start?

I completely agree and for me, it was enough just to be accepted. Northeastern (Charlotte campus) starts in August, so same time frame. It's 15 months, they gave me a great merit scholarship, and its an ABSN so I didn't have to use graduate loans for it. I need those for my actual MSN. I couldn't justify the cost of Emory for basically a BSN. Good luck ?

I was waitlisted in January and was fully accepted a few weeks later. I'm going to assume your chosen specialty plays a huge factor on how many seats they have available.
For anyone who is currently waitlisted for Emorys AMSN program, a lot of people have posted today saying they are not going to Emory anymore so that should open up some slots. Today is the deposit deadline for those previously accepted so after tonight I'm sure there will be many more spots open.
