Emory Master of Nursing (MN) 2021

Updated:   Published

The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

@leavesinthesnow I'm waiting as well. I applied Dec 1, but my status on OPUS still says "Application Received." I'm assuming the status changes regardless of acceptance? Super frustrated!!

Okay! Good to know I’m not alone. That is an interesting point.  I sure hope they update everyone and not just those accepted!

You are not alone at all, I'm trying not to stress but just waiting at this point. I sent them a quick email, but really hoping that the status changes before midnight.

G'day everyone,

I got the good news! I received an email telling me there was an important status update on my portal. I reckoned it was anything but a decision.

I'm so bloody stoked to get started and meet you all! Feeling like the luckiest bloke right now!

Cheers.

Congrats I got in as well ! I’m a little confused, so when I applied I am 100% sure I applied to the combined MN+MSN  for fall 2021...but under the like application what we it just says Master of Nursing. So IDK if I’m sounding dumb or what but I’m confused. And on the website it showing MN+MSN starts in the Summer only ?

I received my acceptance by surprise this afternoon!! I applied mid-December so I was expecting to hear back in March. This was much better than expected ? Does anyone know how many seats there are in the MN 2021 cohort?

I have also seen admitted students at other schools create facebook pages to connect. Has one been made for the MN Fall 2021 cohort yet?

I just checked OPUS and it says Admitted! but I can't seem to find the digital acceptance letter. In my application portal where there the red crosses and green check marks are I can't find any status update link. Is this where it should show up??? Also does the letter include info on scholarships??

mine finally showed up once I got an email- no financial aid/scholarship information however! I also didn’t get an email until like 7pm est tonight even though I’ve been admitted on opus since last night.

Is anyone else still waiting for a decision? I applied October 16th so I feel like I should’ve been an earlier in the day decision.

I was waitlisted...still waiting on a decision

Yes the MN+MSN is a Summer start only. If you're unsure about which program you applied to I would email the admissions staff and ask. The email I have used to ask them questions is
