Emory Master of Nursing (MN) 2021

The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

mines does too, perhaps they are releasing decisions throughout the day? I'm trying to keep distracted with work but I keep anxiously checking my emails and OPUS.

I just checked OPUS and it says Admitted! but I can't seem to find the digital acceptance letter. In my application portal where there the red crosses and green check marks are I can't find any status update link. Is this where it should show up??? Also does the letter include info on scholarships??

Where it says status update, that would be a hyperlink. It doesn’t include scholarship info unfortunately, that comes later.

Hi guys! I just received my acceptance email! I’m very excited! 
 

I do have one question though, where can we see if we got financial aid? Or is that released somewhere else?

Financial aid doesn’t come out until

later. For those admitted in October it’s supposed to be February so for you guys Id assume after that? IDK...email the gradfinaid department...and congrats!

OK....my question is...why does it take so long to find out about the financial aid?

Two different departments and you can’t really hand out grants, etc until you have all of your students decided upon. I wish they would come at the same time trust me, that is the deciding factor for a lot of people.

yes, it's so helpful when making the decision. Is it normal for fin aid to be released months after admission?

Yep...I also got into Northeastern and they don’t release until right before the semester begins which is insane to me.

Is anyone else still waiting for a decision? I applied October 16th so I feel like I should’ve been an earlier in the day decision.

Hi everyone! Congratulations to all who were accepted! I was accepted back in November but I wanted to post the 2 different facebook groups so that anyone who wants to join can. The groups are for the AMSN program.One is just for anyone in the MN+ MSN program and the other is for anyone in the program who is looking for an apartment and/or roommate.
