Emory Master of Nursing (MN) 2021

The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

Hey! I was wondering, when do you start the MN program? I still haven't received the FAFSA information and was informed that for Summer 2021 start date, they actually haven't released any FAFSA information but they have released them for Spring start.

I would have thought at least one person on this thread would get a merit scholarship.. but since no one has posted about it, I'm holding out hope that they're still deciding LOL ??

There’s a no discussion clause with the merit scholarships which is why you aren’t seeing posts about them. but they did go out. I’m wondering if anyone else has had their FAFSA updated.

Has anyone else heard from financial aid yet? I was told last week that they’d be released in a few weeks but just wondering.

What program are you in + when is the start date for your intended program? I am pre-licensure + MSN and starting Summer 2021 and when I emailed financial aid, I was told that financial aid for that specific cohort has not been released and will not be until around March. Hopefully that helps!

I’m in the MN for Fall 2021. Grad fin aid office said the end of this month so I’m hoping she’s right, I CANNOT wait until March. I’m an adult with a lot of real life things to settle before relocating to GA so I hope they hurry it up, LOL.

The last time I checked my opus account, I had the cost of attendance link, but now it isn’t there. I wish I would have taken a screenshot! Does anyone have a picture of it they can share?

Anybody here in the Pre-licensure program?! I had to switch to Adult Gerontology because they ran out of space in the FNP program. Would love to connect with you!

I believe we are all in the prelicensure program on here.

if you’re in the prelicensure program then you wouldn’t be choosing a specialty, that would be for the MSN so which program are you in?
