EMORY ABSN+MSN 2017

So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2017. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?

They received eveything from me on July 8, and I still have red check marks. Hopefully they will begin to turn green.

I'm sure they will soon! I applied on 7/6 and all of my check marks were green on 8/12. Just wait it out! It will all be okay. Hopefully they start emailing us about interviews soon....

I'm applying to the dual MSN/MPH program, today I received green check marks for all my application materials so now I just have to play the waiting game. I'm scared because my GPA is on the lower end and my GRE is "meh" however I'm a practicing RN and have experience both locally and internationally so i'm hoping that will help my application. *crossing fingers*

Nope, I doubt anyone will hear anything until October. Sounds like most of us still have red X's so they probably aren't too far along.

How do we know if we got our GRE score waived? It is not on my application checklist anymore so does that mean it is waived?

I was actually just accepted! I didn't take the GRE and didn't get notification that it was waived. I guess it just happened! Good luck everyone.

oh whoa, i just looked at my checklist and noticed that the GRE part was taken away. sweeeeeeeet. i'm an emory alum so i've "unofficially" already been automatically accepted to the program (so long as i had a 3.0+ gpa during undergrad) but it's nice to know that i don't have to take the GRE to seal the deal. mega-sweet. however, i most likely won't be going unless finaid pulls a miracle and gives me a killer package to convince me to stay.

How do you know which program you were accepted into? Mine acceptance page doesn't provide that information.
