EMORY ABSN+MSN 2017

So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2017. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?

I called them and was told that review would begin in a few weeks. Argh!! I am anxious already.

FNP specialty here, and that makes the three of us. Would be nice if we all get accepted. I am looking at more schools too, but Emory is my top choice. Which other schools are you all applying to?

Haha no not really, I am applying to the University of Texas(when app opens Aug 1), Emory, and U of R. How about yourself? I am finishing my last prereqs right now, anatomy II fast track .

WHAT? A few weeks? That soon?? That is so crazy, and scary too haha... did they say when they would start letting people know about acceptances then?

And oh man, choosing the most competitive specialty is pretty excruciating but I know that it's what I want to do so I guess I'll just have to do my best to stay optimistic.. may we all eventually become wonderful family nurse practitioners :)

That was what they said, but according to last year's thread, notifications were sent out sometime in October. It seems far. I just can't wait.

I am also apply to the ABSN+MSN program. I PRAY I don't have to take the GRE but I still signed up for it. Really dont want to take it tho.

Did they say how that will be waived? I wonder if it is automatic or one has to request for it.

When I talked to them they stated it was automatic. So once you send in your transcript they are going to go through it and if you have a 3.5 or above they will waive the GRE for you.

Hi Raellagr have you heard anything back about your application or have your checks turned green. I have to do over my resume and then I am going to submit mine.
