I am starting online RN-BSN via Chamberlain College of Nursing from July. Just wondering if any nurses out there who will be starting the program or in the program>
Any suggestion/idea is appreciated as it will be my first online program...........
Thank you!!!!
I was terrified of Collaborative because you have to get a mentor and do a big project. It turned out to be really easy and kind of fun. It was time consuming, though. Taking Collaborative with intro to humanities should be very doable, but you may have a lot of papers to write that term. I can't be sure, though, as I didn't need intro to humanities, so I don't know how much work is involved. Collaborative is interesting and fun, but quite a bit of work needs to go into it.
Thanks so much :)
YAY! Yes, I was petrified of it too, but it really is going quite well. My new fear is of Econ, but I won't be taking that 'til at least the summer, so I have awhile to procrastinate about it.Anyone ever take comparative religions as their humanities elective? I was looking at the descriptions, and that seems to be the most interesting.
I also looked into comparative religions but when I called she said you needed to be an excellent writer which I am not that is when chaberlain suggested intro to humanaties
Hi Everybody,
I started in chamberlain from January. Finishing off the first session. So far okay. I am so afraid of the mathematics course. Its been a while that i lost touch with maths. Anybody out there could give me a rough idea about the maths in Chamberlain? Is there any thread discussions? how do they conduct exams on Mathematics?

Math is SO easy. I just took it in October. It's a self-paced course, and you have infinite tries to get the homework correct and 3! times at each exam. (I usually did crummy the first attempt, like a 78, then got a 100 the second time around) - After you take an exam it generates practice questions and shows you EXACTLY how to complete the problems. It's pretty much just changing the numbers around.
Wish they had something like that for papers
Just finished my Stats final :sstrs:Glad it's over! I really enjoyed the class thanks to the Professor who does the weekly lecture. I definitely thought the final was a bit tough and it took me nearly the whole time given (3hrs) to complete.
On to nursing informatics
Hi, I am about to take Statistics class next month. May I ask, which Statistics class did you took, was it MAT206 or PSY230?
Are the books NEEDED for the Evidenced-Based Practice Course and Collaborative Health course? I want to avoid purchasing them if I can. Thanks in advance!
Evidence Based class: Houser, J. (2008). Nursing research: Reading, using, and creating evidence. Sudbury, MA: Jones and Bartlett.
Collaborative class: Carroll, P. (2006). Nursing leadership and management: A practical guide.
Clifton Park, NY: Thompson Delmar Learning.
