i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.
my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)
Brie, have you logged on eCampus, lecture, NLC and power points? I can see everything there. My intructor changes the content from time to time so I don't print them out until the day before the class. By the way we have our lecture on Tuesday, too. And I already have my 2nd blueprint online. Scaaaary. :uhoh21:I don't know how my classmates who failed are doing. I talked to two people from my clinical group and they got A and B. Our class average was 79. I will talk to more people on Tuesday. Can you give any feedback to your lecture instructor?
Katie
It's not on there... would you mind emailing me the powerpoints and blueprint? I've gotta bring up my grade on this next test!! Our class average is a 74 and I have no idea how... I've sent my instuctor numerous emails, and she insists that the test questions came from test banks from our books. She's not offering any advice or help... She says to read all of the books we have. I honestly feel that she does not care if we pass or fail.

Oh yeah, under distance I am able to pull up some powerpoints. I don't even have an NLC tabWhen is everyone's first pharm test? I really hope I pass it the first time....how are y'all studying for it? Are you guys going to the pharm review?
Thank you so much Katie!!!!!!!!!
Our first pharm test is on Oct 9th I believe... my major care plan is due on Oct 4th and I have a lecture exam Oct 24. I hope I pass it on the first try because I dont' think I can handle another failing grade this semester. I was told to mainly focus on the classifications, and that they will tell us everything we need to know at the pharm review. Make sure you bring a tape recorder.... my friend told me that all she did to study was listen to the review tape and her notes from the review. She didn't even study the drug cards and passed on the first try! Now, that was last semester and they put the review closer to the testing date this semester, so I'm not going to rely on that method but it was nice to hear. Right now I'm just focusing on the classifications and actions, and if there is any contraditions. Alot of them are the same or very similar.

I will have to stay up all weekend to review the tape. I was planning on bringing my recorder
I know... I'm off on Saturday but I have to work on Sunday. Hopefully I can listen to the tape over and over on Sat and Sun when I get off work, and probably on my way to take the exam on Monday!! Have you guys started learning them yet? I'm just trying learn the name of the drug, classification, and action. I just don't want to focus too much on it because they should actually tell us which ones are on there. Best of luck to you guys..
