YW! :)

No, not yet. She still hasn't posted my 6th test grade, nor the grade on the final exam. The 7th test consist of the average of all the quizzes, and I made a 100 on all of the quizzes.

She did say that she would try to get grades posted with the school on Tuesday, so we'll see. Unless I totally messed those two things up, I'll have an A. We'll see....& thanks. :)

This is going to be a busy week. I bought my books two days ago. Do we have to bring all those books for the first lecture class? My first class is on Wednesday. And my hospital orientation is on Tuesday 7.30am. :uhoh21:

I made an 87 on my final exam (missed 3 questions).

So.....That means I made a 93 for the class....which means I got a big, fat, worked my butt off, well-deserving.....

A for Algebra!

:rotfl: :balloons:

SO.......this means I have a 4.0 on the pre-reqs & a 4.0 on all 17 credits of the support courses.

If I don't get in for Fall '06, then it's not meant to be, and I'll help my hubby run his biz. hahaha

I'm not sure of any specifically, I just know they do exist. Try looking up the different University websites (TWU, UTA, Baylor, etc) to see if they offer that, or do a search on google for that type of program.

Hi guys,

We had our first lecture today. I passed the math test. Have you had lecture or lab, yet?

Yesterday, my group had hospital orientation. Our hospital has orientation for every school in January, so we had to start NS with orientation first. :)

It was great, although I missed our meeting place and waited for the others somewhere else. After 15 minutes I realized that I was in the wrong building. :banghead: As I tried to find my way to the orientation hall, thru a tunnel/maze that connects the buildings, I talked to at least 3 information clerks, 4 nurses and the nursing administrator. They were all very friendly and helped me a lot to find the room.

Advice: when you go to hospital orientation make sure that you are going to the right building.

Anyway, the presentation wasn't long and there was breakfast, too. We didn't have to wear our uniform. Here comes another advice: if you don't have to wear your uniform don't wear jeans either. We were friendly reminded that jeans don't look professional. As I remember all of us had jeans on. :imbar

Overall, it was a great day. At the end I visited the hospital gift shop and I bought a plush cat because she was really cute.

I can't wait to start clinicals. :p

We will have lecture tomorrow. Tuesday and Wed. was our preclinical labs. It interesting. We don't have our hospital orientation till the 6th week, a week before we actually start clinicals. I can't wait till we start that. Right now it is a little overwhelming because we have all of this info thrown at us. I am doing work for our lecture class right now. Our teacher wants these lecture notes filled out and the pages we need to be read before we get to class so I am finishing up the paper and going to read the textbook again to be prepared.

You waiting around for 15 min. and than finding out you was in the wrong building sounds like something I would do. lol

Yeah they told us we can't wear jeans.I think when I have to go, I will just wear my uniform because I mostly own jeans.

Good luck!! How is everyone else doing?

Thanks... it is pretty overwhelming at first, but once I get in my "groove" I should be ok.

Spring '06 starts in a couple of days. With this, a new adventure, a new journey, a new way of thinking starts for each of you.

Stay motivated, try not to become overwhelmed, and always keep an eye on your long-term goal.
