Congrats!!! You thought it was easy? And you have my instuctor right? Lol... her tests are never easy in my opinion! Can you believe that I've had her for 2 semesters!?!?!?!?

What did you study?

Specializes in ante/postpartum, baby RN.
very interesting to know for us future students that someone at EL C. retested. Who is your instructor?

That instructor won't be there next semester. My present clinical instructor will teach one of the 3rd semester lecture classes at ECC and also she will have a clinical group. By the way, I highly recommend her for clinicals. She is a great nurse and a good instructor.

Well, it wasn't easy. ;)

I usually study everything that's in the syllabus. And it usually works. But next time I really should go into more details, like read more about complications, treatments, meds. It's not enough to know everything about a disease, you really have to know a lot about its complications, treatments, etc. For example, if a surgical procedure is the treatment of a disease and there is some paragraphs in the book about this procedure then read it. Even if this procedure is not in the syllabus you need to read it. I guess on this level you really need to go into details.

I am with you Allison, this is ridiculous. :uhoh3: I have never heard about this before. When I failed one of tests 1st semester nobody let me retest again. We didn't even had 10 point quizzes. Sorry, we should do this by the same rules. We are all ECC students after all. Everybody should get a second chance or nobody does.

I feel really bad for this one girl in our class now because this was the test that caused her to have to retake 3rd semester and she didn't receive a second chance last time. She did well on this exam and you can bet she was ticked off when she found out about this 2nd chance crap....I would be livid!!!

Specializes in Nephrology.

Good luck tomorrow Brie!!!!!!! :monkeydance:

Good luck to you Brie! :balloons:

Thanks!!! I just want to pass....:uhoh3:

Specializes in OR Internship starting in Jan!!.

Good luck, Brie!

And congrats for ya'lls good grades!

As for the second chance, I'd be upset, too. Even on check-offs, people who fail the first time cannot earn 100 points again. That seems fair enough.

But, Fun is right about the bright spot -- at least you get to study for the next test!

So I got an 80.... I really thought I did better, but I'm thankful that I passed because alot of people didn't. I need to do well on Cardiac, so that I have alot of cushion for the final!!

Congrats to everybody for passing!!
