i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

hello jaxia, yes this is my first semester, and i have my first lecture tomorrow. i have stummbled onto 3 ecc/nlc threads and they are all good, i have just been too busy to view the lately. good luck and best wishes.

I was almost to the hospital when everyone started calling me asking me if we had clinicals today because they hadn't even left yet :lol2: I told them I was almost there!!! hahaha. I did a 180 on Greenville but I still trucked along to get there when the instructor called me and said that DCCCD hadn't announced closure but she decided to cancel clinicals. I tried to do another 180 to U-turn but I decided to just do a safe U-turn at the next light ;)

SNOW DAYS RULE!!!! I had one last semester and I have one this semester! COOL! :D

I am glad you are at home safe. I wonder how many of us went to school.

Brie, we have the same lecture instructor this semester. We are going to make it, aren't we. ;)

is this a general rule, if the campus is closed, then there are no clinicals? I was wondering, because in one of our calendars it says something about a District Conference on Feb. 22, 23.,no school, and this would be clinical days for me. Would that mean I don't have clinical on those days either?

I don't think it's a general rule. The best is to ask your clinical instructor. But if it's a no school day then you shouldn't have clinicals either. :idea:

We were supposed to have lecture today. My instructor says that we have to watch a lecture video on eCampus this week so we can continue with regular lecture schedule next week. We can also go to Arlington tomorrow for lecture but I don't want to drive there.

Yes Katie... we will make it! It won't be easy, as a matter of fact, it will difficult, but I know we can do it. We just need to continue to support each other and stay focused. Let me know if you have anymore questions!

On Feb 22-????? the district is closed.. I don't think there will be clinicals those days.

That is the days of the SNA's state convention (or whatever it is).

The SNA sponsor was talking at the NLC meeting about not needing to get excused absences from labs, etc. this year d/t the campuses being closed.

It's ECC's 40th or something like that.
