i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

I just wanted to let you all know , that our clinicals were posted a couple of hours ago, this is sec. semester by the way. Sorry you guys are still waiting. I got Parkland, with Pritchett. Anyone, have any experince with her? Just in general of course

I was at Parkland with different instructor and I loved the hospital. Don't forget to try their burrito. :monkeydance:

Don't worry. Nothing there yet. Poor 3st semester students have to wait and wait and wait...

Someone asked about that at our thing on Monday and the teacher said that it shouldn't count against us when we register because they wouldn't have enough spots to fill and they wouldn't be allowed to do that because we did pass the semester.

I would like to see them try to not register me!!!! All living HELL would break loose!!!!!!!!!!

Ok... I was just worried about that. I would be VERY upset too.. plus they would only have like 5 people in the class!!

Yes, she is the BEST! I learned a lot from her. She was my 1st choice last semester and I recommended her to anyone who asked me my opinion. She expects you to come prepared to clinical with all your paperwork in order. As long as you do that, she is very supportive. So far, she is the most organized instructor I've had in this program. Good luck, I'm sure you'll love her!

I was at Charlton last semester , I really liked it, but I just did not get to do very much . I hope I get to learn a lot at Parkland , that's really why I picked it this time around.

Did you guys still not hear about your clinicals?

No news yet! I really don't want to wait until January 2!

Ms. P moves you around so you can see and do a lot. I did 2 Foleys and several injections at Parkland and observed a C-section with BTL & a lady partsl birth. All you have to do is walk thru Parkland and you see so much. I worked in the ER in between 1st and 2nd semester and I can't wait to go back. I think you'll really enjoy the experience.

This is really strange you all supposed to wait till the 2nd of January, considering that payment is due on the 3rd of January. Gee, I am sorry you guys have to wait.

My friend just talked to our 2nd semester instructor and she said that they were still up there working on the program and getting clinicals in order. I don't know what happened up there! It probably took so long to get 2nd semester's schedule together that they were just too tired to do ours hahaha! I wanted to know before Christmas but I guess that won't happen . OH WELL! :D
