El Centro Spring 2015

I have called the office at El Centro 3 times yesterday and today and no one is answering the phone. I wanted to ask them when they are actually dropping the letters in the mail. I wish they would let us come up there to pick them up or would send us an email instead. The thought of depending on the post office for something this important is a little scary.

The wait is getting worse and worse each day. I really hope that I don't have patches of hair fall out over the weekend! Haha

Just a few more days to go!!!!

Lol I completely understand. My mailman constantly leaves my letters in my neighbors mailbox (we live in apts).

I know you all will get in. I'm not so sure for me though. I applied with 32pts and made a Dr apt. 2mths in advance. I didn't get my 2nd HepB shot until 8/1 2weeks after the 7/15 due date. Then miraculously I received an email saying I was cleared through Sentry. But I have accepted my fate if I do get denied. I should of been pestering my Dr. or gone else where, but I did not know where to go. I learned everything through these forums or else I Would of been lost. God forbid you ask an advisor for help.

I just know I worked my butt off this summer to take all the remaining pre-reqs. I leave it in the hands of fate.

Edge00, I have been there last semester. They never answer the phone you have to call a lot of different times of the day or stop in. It's a pain. They seem to answer at 8 am sometimes. They usually always send then on time. Last semester it was a day late because of July 4th so don't fret! I would call on the 15th -16 to see if they sent them out already. Hoping we all get in! I am not going to worry. If I don't get in it's just gives me more opportunity to better my chances and apply to more schools next semester. A lot of nurses I know have gotten denied while applying but it didn't stop them. If you really want it you keep going! :yes:

Hey everyone,

I just spoke with Ms. Jackson in the Nursing Dept., she said letters are ready to be mailed out. She was told they would be mailed out on the 15th. Good Luck to all. :)

I guess they are sending it out today. Some could have it as early as tomorrow. We should all definitely know by Saturday 1-3days. I'm a nervous wreck.

I swear I've been checking this page at least 10 times a day!! I'm hoping it doesn't take too long for the letter to make it all the way to Rowlett :/ I'm so impatient! Lol good luck everyone
