El Centro Spring 2015

Hi all,

I am starting a tread for all the students that will be applying for spring 2015 ADN program at El Centro. Please join and give any info that you might have. I want to be successful as well as everyone else trying to apply.

Best wishes to you all who applied for Spring! :) Just fyi, the Dean said that for fall there was over 500 applicants.

Do not freak out people 500 is the "norm" or so I hear. I got an email saying my physical/vaccines cleared :up:so I am a little hopeful now for Spring 2015 since El Centro is not doing the verifying anymore for the physical exam and vaccines. I might still get denied down the line but thats OK I am prepared for that as well.

I'm not applying for the spring, (applying for fall) but I'm having trouble signing up for the Hesi A2 on the evolve website! Whenever I click on the student access link under 'my evolve', it takes me to a page, and I clicked 'register for distance testing exam' and there is something I have to fill out, and there is a part asking for a Dept. ID (which idk what that is) and at the bottom there is a drop down bar that says 'Exam*' and it says there are No exams......help!!

Hey, you have to go to this link HESI A2 Admissions | El Centro College and click where it says VIEW THE CALENDAR, select a date thats available because sometimes their full. When you select a date it will provide you with the payment ID, Date and time of your test make sure you write everything down.

Then you'll go to https://evolve.​elsevier.com/, log in with your username and password, if you dont have one, create an account. Once you login youll go to student access. Select the payment tab and type in your payment ID you got from the calendar. The rest is just processing the payment. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good Luck!!

Thats seems to be a good sign:up: if your cleared with sentry i hope that you are able to get in. I hope we all get to get in and accomplish our dreams of being a nurse. Good luck

Just email them at [email protected] if you have trouble. Tell them your name and program you are trying to apply for. They will give you dates you can choose from.

I was waitlisted for fall 2014 @ midwestern state university school of nursing. I was offered a spot on Thursday and I have accepted it. Am starting the BSN program on August 25th. Good luck on ya'lls application and thanks for your support.

my goodness! Every time I looked on here there is always a new change LOL. SO what in the world is this new sentry thing everyone is talking about? Does anyone have a copy of shots that are now required or is it all the same except the HEP A??? I am applying in January. Getting ready to start my shot and get CPR next week and HESI is next Friday! I am in a nervous wreck! I am currently taking Federal Government and History 1301 along with all this mess coming up! I hope I still have hair left after all of this. If you have info on this new info please please please let me know. The sentry is the new immunization/ physical form that needs to be filled out and fax or uploaded to there website then you have to pay $15 dollars for registration. People where able to submit there old immunaztions and physical papers to the website and there were accepted. The only difference is that you have to have hep A two doses one shot then the next shot is due six months later.

New Immunization Requirements for Health programs | El Centro College here is the website that will give you the new info on whats needed. Good Luck
