El Centro Spring 2018 Nursing Program Hopefules

Hello Nursing hopefules!

I will be applying for the El Centro Nursing Progam for spring 2018. I wanted to know if anyone else is working on their applications and how far along. Here to provide and receive support and help. I currently have 26 points without the HESI. I was only missing 3 points from the RN-BSN courses. I have taken the HESI 2 times before and there would always be one subject (grammar) that held me back from submitting my application. I did not take the HESI seriously and never studied for the test. This time is different. I have been studying my head off for 2 weeks now. Taking the HESI for the third and final time Feb 11. Hopefully I get to meet some future el Centro students here and start our journey together!

I really hope that they do improve their scores í ½í¸©

I took the hesi a2 last week got above 90 each section, unfortunately I was barely starting the reading section and did not finish. I have to re take the whole thing again. I hope I find another testing date before the deadline. I am so overwhelmed due that is a timed test :/ hopefully I can make it

So far away. I'm so ready for my acceptance letter! I just finished up 2 additional BSN courses this summer and my points addedup to 39.

39 is really good wish u the best of luck. I'll have to apply in the spring because I couldn't get everything in on time and I'm also trying to apply for uta's program. Does anyone know what will happen if the school does lose its accredition while we're in the program?

I turned in my application this Saturday eighth after I took the hesi again. I am applying with 38 points thru Methodist partnership. So nervous since they only 10 people each semester ifmnot I will go to El Centro. I also heard that next semeter they might raise the hesia2 score to 90. Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone know if we'll have any type of correspondence with the school other than waiting for the October letter? As in....do they notify us that they have received and processed our packets?

I don't think they do do. You only get the approval or denial letter

Does anyone know what information you have to submit in with the five year waiver? I got approved and submitted the approval letter but I read on another post that someone got denied because they didn't sign their letter of request? Can someone clarify?

Are we supposed to hear something at the beginning of October? I'm hoping my points are high enough to get me into this program! I'm impatiently waiting.... lol.
