El Centro/ Northlake Nursing Spring 2014

Hello all! I'm new here and have not seen a post for El Centro spring 2014. I was originally planning to apply for fall 2014, however I just heard that the point system and prerequisites have been revised! Now I will be able to apply for this spring! I don't know if I will get in, but its worth a shot! Anyone else applying for spring 2014?

I live in Frisco, I received my letter on Friday

I got in to El Centro with 29 points. Holla at yo boy!

I am morally opposed to social networking, so have fun with you group, see you in orientation though!

LOL @ MrDoug! That's ok, we won't shun you because you don't want to be a part of our "faceyspace" group as my husband calls it, although we have learned a lot from each other already! Example: we did find out that you do have to bring proof of personal insurance coverage to orientation, not the first day of class. There are apparently 2 different dates listed on two papers and the orientation date is the correct one.

Hey everyone! I haven't been on here since September but I did get accepted into Northlake! I was wondering has anybody received information on when/ where to get the fingerprinting/ drug test done.

Congrats and Good luck to everyone who was accepted! :) I am hoping to applying for Fall 2014, but I have not taking micro, patho, or pharma or my HESI test yet... Not sure if I need all the courses to be accepted or not :/ i am currently taking AP2 and planning micro in spring. Did any of yall not have pharma/patho ??

From what I understand the 3 science are ap1,2, and micro and they have to be completed. Hesi has to be done also. I am applying thru a work partnership for next fall. I am done with sciences and have a 3.75 in those, 4.0 in supporting classes and will have 10 of the 14 suggested courses that get points towards a BSN. Praying it is enough. Taking hesi in Feb

Hi! Has anyone done their fingerprinting and background check yet?

I was accepted to El Centro for Spring 2014 and I'm still waiting for info on the fingerprinting and background check. They sent us an email last Monday stating the board was not ready for us yet. Anyone else have any info?

I applied fo r spring 2014 with 25 points an d di dnt g et in. I'm going to reaply but th e highest ill have will be 28 points (including classes that i take over winter break)

I could have had 30 point s but hprs 1202 got fille d up before 8am th is morning. wh en i went to register at midnight on the 19 i read online t hat i co ul d re gis ter only at 8am. by 7:45 when i woke up th ere were no more available spots. I guess it did open on midni g ht. if i had known i wouldve been up all night trying to secure my spot.

I g ot 6 points on my hesi. I plan on retaking it jan25 but im not sure how much better ill do. Im so read y t o throw in the towel at this point
