El Centro/ Northlake Nursing Spring 2014

Hello all! I'm new here and have not seen a post for El Centro spring 2014. I was originally planning to apply for fall 2014, however I just heard that the point system and prerequisites have been revised! Now I will be able to apply for this spring! I don't know if I will get in, but its worth a shot! Anyone else applying for spring 2014?

as far as I know, online CPR classes are pretty useless in the healthcare industry.

I got accepted at Northlake, had 29 points. I just want to say that for anybody that did not get in, don't give up. Keep trying. It will pay off. This was my second attempt, and I finally made it. Congrats to everyone!

This was my second attempt also and I am disappointed again. At this moment I feel like quitting or at least taking a break. Hopefully I will better in a few days. I have 24 points, so close yet so far.

Drove home from work chewing all my nails out! Got home and went straight to the mail box! It was there! A white standard size letter envelope with the el centro logo! It felt like it had several pages inside. I ripped the envelope, read the first sentence and tears of joy rolled down my face! I got in el centro! I applied with 30 points!

Thanks everyone! I swear it's the best feeling in the world knowing your just that much closer to your dream! And congrats to everyone in so far. It may sound cheesy but for those not accepted DONT GIVE UP! I swear I cried many tears and almost gave up but today getting that acceptance letter made it worth everything! Good luck to you :)
