  1. I got in with 31 points! Mulligan!
  2. im waiting for the mail today, didn't get mine either
  3. as far as I know, online CPR classes are pretty useless in the healthcare industry.
  4. Now I am freaking out, wondering if I forgot something in the application, but I went over everything a million times before handing it in.
  5. I applied with 31 points, but no letter...
  6. the way I got it when it was explained, is if you think you may have a hiccup on your record, to fill the form out just in case when it comes to your background check.
  7. I actually have the day off, I am squirming in my chair. Time to break out the music and video games and kill some time.
  8. There will be a mandatory information session, which at that time you will get all the info on orientation, fingerprinting, background checks, etc. Then comes the three day orientation that includes the drug test. Location depends on which campus you were accepted to
  9. guys, don't sweat it. I called the dean about this early yesterday that probably facilitated this entire thing. She called me back after all of my stuff had been corrected and said that I still had enough points, and I only had 15. If you have above that then you have nothing to worry about, except the competency of the nursing program :uhoh21:
  10. computer malfunction aka someone doesnt know how to do paperwork peoperly. That sucks guys I am so sorry y'all are stuck waiting for another 2 weeks.
  11. Hey guys, open your letts as soon as you get them. I am accepting to BHC, but I looked over my acceptance to Northlake, and all of my information is wrong. Grades, GPA, vaccination dates, colleges attended, EVERYTHING! I am pretty sure someone else has my less awesome looking gpa and may not be getting accepted because they screwed up paperwork. I called and left a message with the dean, but please look everything over on your educational plan and get on the horn if something does not look right. Good luck to you all!
  12. lol, well looks like I got into the Northlake program as well, but I see a ton of A's that I don't remember earning...makes me glad I got accepted at BHC, I don't think they screw things up that badly. And I definitely do not remember attendin UTA or the university of boston O_o Holy moly I feel bad for people that go to the El Centro/Northlake campus.
  13. yeah, pre-reqs and support courses are his best bet. Evolve makes a book, and kaplan does also, for the HESI, and it helped me out somewhat. I think the test itself is poorly written, but the evolve book gives you an idea of what to study for. I can also email him a GMAT prep book for reading comprehension if he would like, it's a grad school book but it breaks everything down and teaches you how to read passages and what to look for in answers.
  14. I requested . I know I have pokemon for my pic, but I like to cover my tracks when it comes to employers.
  15. yeah I wouldn't worry, I only got it because I have been unemployed for a pretty long time, and I am slowly learning to think of these things ahead of time. That's lame though, that they didn't give you any recourse for getting back into medical assisting. Unfortunately I also did a medical assisting thing back in the day, but it was one of those sham schools that left me with a hefty Sallie Mae loan. Still boils my blood thinking about it.
