as far as I know, online CPR classes are pretty useless in the healthcare industry.

Now I am freaking out, wondering if I forgot something in the application, but I went over everything a million times before handing it in.

the way I got it when it was explained, is if you think you may have a hiccup on your record, to fill the form out just in case when it comes to your background check.

El Centro/ Northlake Nursing Spring 2014
I actually have the day off, I am squirming in my chair. Time to break out the music and video games and kill some time.

El Centro/ Northlake Nursing Spring 2014
There will be a mandatory information session, which at that time you will get all the info on orientation, fingerprinting, background checks, etc. Then comes the three day orientation that includes the drug test. Location depends on which campus you were accepted to

El centro nursing program fall 2012??
guys, don't sweat it. I called the dean about this early yesterday that probably facilitated this entire thing. She called me back after all of my stuff had been corrected and said that I still had enough points, and I only had 15. If you have above that then you have nothing to worry about, except the competency of the nursing program :uhoh21:

El centro nursing program fall 2012??
Hey guys, open your letts as soon as you get them. I am accepting to BHC, but I looked over my acceptance to Northlake, and all of my information is wrong. Grades, GPA, vaccination dates, colleges attended, EVERYTHING! I am pretty sure someone else has my less awesome looking gpa and may not be getting accepted because they screwed up paperwork. I called and left a message with the dean, but please look everything over on your educational plan and get on the horn if something does not look right. Good luck to you all!

Brookhaven Fall 2012
lol, well looks like I got into the Northlake program as well, but I see a ton of A's that I don't remember earning...makes me glad I got accepted at BHC, I don't think they screw things up that badly. And I definitely do not remember attendin UTA or the university of boston O_o Holy moly I feel bad for people that go to the El Centro/Northlake campus.

yeah, pre-reqs and support courses are his best bet. Evolve makes a book, and kaplan does also, for the HESI, and it helped me out somewhat. I think the test itself is poorly written, but the evolve book gives you an idea of what to study for. I can also email him a GMAT prep book for reading comprehension if he would like, it's a grad school book but it breaks everything down and teaches you how to read passages and what to look for in answers.

I requested . I know I have pokemon for my pic, but I like to cover my tracks when it comes to employers.

Brookhaven Fall 2012
yeah I wouldn't worry, I only got it because I have been unemployed for a pretty long time, and I am slowly learning to think of these things ahead of time. That's lame though, that they didn't give you any recourse for getting back into medical assisting. Unfortunately I also did a medical assisting thing back in the day, but it was one of those sham schools that left me with a hefty Sallie Mae loan. Still boils my blood thinking about it.

yeah, I got my CNA this past January. I went to CTK in Irving, you could pass it in your sleep. It's only a month long program and about 700 bucks, but it opens you up to a lot more jobs.

I guess the good thing is is I will be working nights, so while it'll be a pain staying up long hours, I most likely won't have to work too much around my schedule. And I think networking comes with any job line. You can't go to TCU, get good grades and be a hermit, and then expect to come out with a job lined up. Everyone before you has already been introducing themselves to people and making connections. I am so thankful I got offered a med/surg PCT job recently, so I will be getting coveted experience that I know will be extremely worth the long hours and major headaches. your post is really enlightening though, hopefully we will get lucky and not have too much hiccup in our school schedules, I just wish people would realize that we are human and have jobs and kids too.

I personally would caution against cramming 15 credit hours into a summer semester, I have tried it many times before and realized that I had bitten off more than I could chew each time. I am taking gov 2301/2302, and art appreciation, all accelerated classes. The government classes are kicking my butt just because they are soooooo boring! If you think you can do it though go for it! I am going to try and get into my last 3 support classes this summer, but other than that I don't want to do too much if I actually get accepted, I would like to kick back before the mayhem begins.

I liked nutrition, except when my instructor wouldn't accept my non-dairy diet plan because I'm lactose intolerant except for greek yogurt. One whole grade mark down!

Brookhaven Fall 2012
I'm guessing by 4pm. I am fortunate that I have a crapton of homework to keep me occupied. It's jsut going to exhaust me thinking about this, not that American/Texas government doesn't exhaust me. If I didnt have homework I'd probably be playing video games. Go run around the block as fast as you can 5-6 times, you won't have any energy left to worry lol!
