Hello all! I'm new here and have not seen a post for El Centro spring 2014. I was originally planning to apply for fall 2014, however I just heard that the point system and prerequisites have been revised! Now I will be able to apply for this spring! I don't know if I will get in, but its worth a shot! Anyone else applying for spring 2014?

...hmmm, who did you hear that from, and what is their definition of a ton?...well, lol, let's hope some are not very detail oriented, lol...

I actually think with the new point system it encouraged some people to apply. With the reduced number of pre reqs it probably made more people "eligible". Doesn't mean that they had all those other points though. Only like 55 days till we find out!! Hahaha!

Also a lot of people apply not knowing how serious the people who review these apps are when it comes to the vaccinations!

...I agree, the people reviewing the packets are very serious about the required vaccinations. Also, a lot of applicants are not very detail oriented, from reading prior blogs, a lot of applications have been disqualified for minor things. It is crazy, I hope we did not miss anything. And with less prereqs and more support classes, let's hope the cut off points won't be to high...

Fingers crossed for all of us!! Hopefully we were all at the top of our game when reviewing and submitting our applications! Now to find things to do to pass the time so we don't sit and go crazy! Who's doing something fun this week??

Hey guys!

Ive been following the thread for a while. I have also applied to the Spring 2014 class. Just out of curiosity, does everyone have a back-up plan? Like, are you applying to other schools as well? Or will you simply try again in the Fall?

I had a 2nd choice school that I applied to for spring, but I did not get accepted due to only 25 spaces available and not enough points. El Centro is my 1st and only other option.
