C'mon peeps, where are you all? There are posts for every other ECC/NL class. We need our own too.

Anyone else starting in the Fall '07?

Read in Iggy according to the topics. For the first class, review acid-base and read the chapters on fluids (Unit Four) and shock (Ch 40). Begin the Reproductive Unit (Unit Seventeen). Lowdermilk (OB Text) also has chapters on Women's Health, STD, and infertility. Follow the content in Lowdermilk for Antepartal and Labor & Delivery. Focus on patho for conditions and nursing inteventions. By mid-term, we will have covered most of the whole Lowdermilk book. Have a productive and relaxing summer!

I don't have the Lowdermilk text. It's not part of the book box I purchased. Anyone know about it?

Yes, I just checked my email. I kinda figured that's what was going on. My friend who did not get in went to retrieve her packet to re-apply, they told her not to pick it up yet. Several fall 07 students at EC failed HPRS and lost their spot. Kinda scary, but I passed my first check off today (vital signs). Hopefully all goes well! Seems okay if you actually study and practice!

I noticed that on my registration summary, it showed only 26 confirmed for Lecture, with 24 open spots. Guess they are just waiting til all the Skills courses are taken.

Nice post, ;).

I bought a used Lowdermilk text online. I have this edition: http://www.amazon.com/Maternity-Womens-Health-Leonard-Lowdermilk/dp/0323020089/ref=ed_oe_h/102-7043907-6686532?ie=UTF8&qid=1184273892&sr=8-1.

I was looking at the summer classes and I have found many different HPRS classes. Other than the basic skills/pharm/patho there are wellness promotion and health prof management classes. Who needs to take those two classes? Are those optional like the pharm and patho classes?

Well there are several Fall 07 Nursing students in my lecture class, but not 24. My class is like 5 sections combined. Hopefully that many did not loose their spot.

Hey Pecked & Linz -

Just read your posts about receiveing e-mails & those who failed HPRS, etc. You are freaking me out because I already passed HPRS in the spring semester, I already show to be registered for my classes, but I have not received any e-mails yet. (I do have access to E-Campus as of today but there is nothing under assignments.) Are you two at NL or EC & are you 1st semester students?

Thanks!

It's under Announcements. That's why it took me a few days to find it - LOL.

I haven't gotten any emails...just getting it all from eCampus.

You didn't get the email because you already passed HPRS, she is just being the gate keeper for us who are taking it! I am fall 07 at EC.

Here is the only thing I have under announcements, which doesn't pertain to me anyways cuz it isn't for my course & section:

Dang - I think I am wrong! Those reading assignments say they are for RNSG 2504. Wonder why they are showing up on the 1423 board??? As if I need more ways to get confused!

Sorry All!
