El Centro / NLC Fall 2019

Hello,

I wanted to start a thread to see if anyone is applying for the Fall 2019 program at El Centro (hoping to get into the North Lake program). I'm getting ready to send my application and await the process. Just didn't see a thread yet and wanted to connect with my hopeful future Colleagues. I've read the Spring 2019 thread and it was exciting to see everyone come together during this process to share in this fantastic journey! I'm hoping to connect with anyone going through this experience with and hopefully also be in the program with me.

I didn't apply this year but from the looks of it, seems like ECC is taking their time lol Hopefully you guys hear something very soon!

When I spoke to Jesse last semester, he told me that they would mail letters out ON the 30th. That might have changed from last semester to this one, but I’m not anticipating it until the 2nd at the earliest.

This has been one of the longest week of my life, tied with the weeks I’ve been due with my kids! ???

Called and confirmed this morning- They will be mailed on the 30th!

Only that the test is 85 questions long! Our instructor told us that everything we learned this semester in any of our classes is fair game to be included on the HESI. We are taking it the second week of May.

Also, have you heard whether the questions are designed similar to how the NCLEX questions are asked? Good luck to you the hesi exam! Thanks again.

Well tomorrow is the big day. I can not wait to get the Congratulation letter. I have worked, as I'm sure everyone on here has, to hard not to get in. Has anyone gotten their letter early?

Yes, faculty has told us all exams during all 4 semesters are designed to prepare us for the NCLEX.

Hey sure! Anyone reading this can email me. I will answer questions to the best of my ability. For obvious reasons I can't divulge certain things but I will let you know what I can and can't answer. Also just to set up expectations, I won't be able to share any syllabi or program materials. Thanks for understanding! [email protected]
