Nursing Students School Programs
Published Feb 28, 2019
Hi everyone!I
I wanted to make a group for all the people applying for the Spring 2020 program. Has anyone taken the HESI yet? If so, are there better tools than the book?

It's a school physical and needs to be completed on the El Centro form by your doctor/NP. You can find the form online by googling "El Centro nursing immunization requirements"

Babysplash, did I see on another thread that you made it in to ELC? What do you think so far?

Yes I am at ELC. I am now a second semester student after passing the HESI last week. It works well with my schedule, and I liked the faculty I had for my classes. First semesters makes or breaks a lot of people because if the workload and requirements but if you stay focused and try to get ahead it's manageable.

Does anyone know if we have to have both Hep A shots before applying?

Or a hep B titer like HBSAB. I have the titers for most of my shots.

I’m asking this again so any new people can see this also because I need help! Is anyone taking HPRS 2201 (Patho) Or has taken this class with Drury? There is so much information for the first test and I want to see how people are preparing or have prepared for her tests. Thanks so much!

The Patho I took was RSNG 1311. Is it the same one ?
I’m in Patho right now with Drury. Took test 1 on Friday, I’m reading the chapters and taking the quizzes.
@CharityL how did you do? Do the quizzes and all the outlines and tables help? I am filling them all out and it’s so much information!

I did okay. Got 52 out of 60. I didn’t fill out the tables, because in reading the information I was familiar with quite a bit of what was covered. But I have four kids and recently took A&P, I think that helped . I know that doesn’t help you, I didn’t think that there was many things repeated from the quizzes but they were kinda a good gauge of if you knew what was going on. Because what I scored on the quizzes was about what I did on the test.
