Hi everyone!I

I wanted to make a group for all the people applying for the Spring 2020 program. Has anyone taken the HESI yet? If so, are there better tools than the book?

Why not take RNSG 1311? Most programs are moving away from the HPRS classes except ECC. I know Brookhaven doesn't accept it anymore.

You're welcome! I've heard horror stories of people having to go back and repeat the same class because the course section they took won't transfer to the ADN or BSN programs. But yes definitely take the RNSG 1311. That will work for both programs.

Ive heard that as well. I think eventually they will remove the HRPS.

That's what I think too. It didn't make sense to have both in the first place especially if only one was truly going to transfer. lol. It's like SCIT. They might as well remove it because I took both SCIT and BIOL courses and they taught the same thing in both classes. Waste of money. Darned Dallas County you!!!

Has anyone already applied to ECC yet? I did the online session to get the Spring 2020 application but its not updated on the website. Anybody heard anything back? And how many points are you all applying with? I’m going in with 36 pts.

I’m waiting. I have one more shot to get and I am finishing a couple of classes. I believe I will have 33 points

I haven’t applied yet, but I will once I get my last shot in two weeks.

When you apply you don’t hear anything back until it’s time for letters!

I was just wondering about this...I won’t have my last HepB shot until fall and I was planning to apply this summer. So did you apply and then they notified you that you were ineligible because you didn’t have the shots completed???

I have been told you have to have all three shots. Maybe call your doctor and see if you can get your third before July fifteenth.

Yes that’s right. I didn’t have my last one so that automatically disqualifies you. :(
