El Centro/Methodist Dallas Fall 2014

I've created this new thread for those applying to the Methodist Nursing Program linked with El Centro. This program is for those that are employed, have immediate family members employed, and volunteers that have reached a certain amount of hours at a Methodist hospital. They currently are only accepting 10 people per semester.

Anyone else applying to the program?

Has anyone heard anything yet? Ive been watching this board for awhile. I work at MCMC and decided not to apply and go to mountainview instead. I am declining my ECC spot. I wish yall the best of luck and hope you all get in. I was in ecc in the fall of 13 and it seemed the the methodist group got a much closer interaction with teachers with there only being 20 students. So best of luck to you guys. See yall on the other side!!

Congratulations on your aceptance! I haven't heard anything yet, I do know interviews are supposed to be held next Friday, but we are still waiting to hear more info next week. I'm a little nervous because I didn't as many points as other applicants and they are currently only taking 10 students for this semester. Good luck to you as well!!!

Yeah we got that e-mail last week saying that ECC won't have the qualified list ready for them until June 20th??? That seems like quite a while! I actually declined regular ECC and am hoping to get accepted in to MHS! I recently got hired on PRN as well at the Dallas campus! I hope to hear something soon on when interviews will be because I am going out of town the week of the 16th!

Congratulations Welcome aboard! I'm sure you will get... no worries there! This whole process has been nerve wrecking hopefully we can hear something soon.

Haha yes, I did! On the last day! It was a tough choice, but I really really want to be a part of the MHS program, so I am taking my chances! I got hired as a patient sitter- a "safety tech" for high risk patients! It's fun! And I'm at the Dallas campus! I'll for sure let you know! I am so anxious! Less then a month until we are supposed to find out and still don't know when interviews are! yikes!

Yes it is so nerve wrecking!!! I wonder when we will hear anything! and Thankkkk you! I hope I do! I am so nervous it is driving me up the wall! lol Hopefully we both get in and can be buddies!

What made you decide to not go for the Methodist program anymore?? Anything particular? Congrats on MV, though! I have heard good things! Best of luck on your journey!

Well girl i wish you good luck, and i heard about the whole interview thing being changed since ECC didn't get the list to Methodist yet. I accepted ECC i couldn't wait risking it and waiting another semester.

So we got a new email today. Interview day is set for June 24th. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and we can be buddies. Lets pray for the best!
