El Centro/Methodist Dallas Fall 2014

I've created this new thread for those applying to the Methodist Nursing Program linked with El Centro. This program is for those that are employed, have immediate family members employed, and volunteers that have reached a certain amount of hours at a Methodist hospital. They currently are only accepting 10 people per semester.

Good luck y'all.... I just completed second semester in the ECC/MHS program... If y'all get in, get ready to work. I'm in the first group under the new concept-based curriculum and it's been interesting... That said, it IS doable if you commit the time... If y'all have questions, shoot me a message, I'd be happy to help if I can!

I turned in my application in today. I highly doubt I'll get it but I figured I should turn it in anyways. Let's pray for interviews. Good luck y'all!!!

I had 26 but it was only a 32 point system at the time I applied... Last fall there were something like 72 applicants and they took 20 total.

Ohhh yeah I forgot that they just changed the point system this spring. I am praying I get in! I'm glad you like it! I am ready to bust my butt and finally become a nurse!

I feel the same way as you do. I will not give up until I become a nurse. Although, I'm sure you're getting in!!! I'll be glad when it's over!

sdr i see that you comment on the El Centro Northlake thread too. If you get into El Centro are you accepting it? Or declining and applying at Methodist?

If I get accepted at traditional ECC I'm declining it and going for the Methodist program! I've already submitted my applications for MHS too! What about you?

I'm not sure yet. I think I will accept ECC if I get accepted. Because Methodist only has 10 slots and I'm not too confident with 32 points.
