Hello, I am currently a nursing a student that has decided to specialized in wound care. I have been researching but havent seen any NP programs specifically for wound care, so was curious what program to enter. Im still failry new to all of this and have a long way to go, but I like to know a direction to head. Any wound care NPs out there? And what was the road you took to get there? Thanks!!

Hey Guys!!! Just wanted to let y'all know we officially have a schedule!! Looks like MWF classes. Starting to get very excited.. see y'all next week!!

The two that I work with said they had one lecture and one skills a week.. And the clinicals were clustered.. So it doesn't sound too bad.. They said it's mostly is studying on our own, so I hope we don't hate each other lol

I currently am a tech at MCMC and we just hired two new intern/grads that both came from MVC. They both have really positive things to say about it, and have both passed their boards on the first time. They only had one student fail, one drop for UTA, and the other failed the drug test. So far, they are holding their own and are keeping up pretty well. I workon a very busy med/surg floor and quite a few new nurses havent lasted long. Hope that helps!!

Hey Guys!! Just wanted to say congrats to all my fellow MHS people who got in. I work at MCMC but didnt apply because they only accept 10. I was accepted to ECC and MVC and will attend MVC. Hope to see you guys around and congrats agin!!!

Im confused. I sent an email but Im sure it wont be answered until monday due to the holiday. Glad im not the only one. I already paid for something, but I went under student screening but it never gave me an option to select a date to be fingerprinted. Oh well I guess we will find out

Hey guys! Have yall done your background and drug screen? I know the drug tests we do on campus but for the background do we actually go and do it. The handout wont upload on my computer and I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right. Thanks! Happy fourth to yall!

Hello! Im excied to get this started? Has anyone done the background and drug test yet. The background is the one we set an appt for corect? Ive been so busy I havent had time to do it yet. Also, has anyone run into having to renew their TB or CPR. I was told I had to redo both of mine even though they will still be current for all of the program. Just wondering if anyone else had to redo

Has anyone heard anything yet? Ive been watching this board for awhile. I work at MCMC and decided not to apply and go to mountainview instead. I am declining my ECC spot. I wish yall the best of luck and hope you all get in. I was in ecc in the fall of 13 and it seemed the the methodist group got a much closer interaction with teachers with there only being 20 students. So best of luck to you guys. Im the same way. Im sure they will let us know in time though. There are only forty of us so it wont be nearly as time consuming for them.

I did mine at work at the end of april. I was hoping she would accept that one. Otherwise I will have to get it again. I hate how every school has different dates for everything.
