..was accepted everywhere I applied, one fairly well-known school; all three have brick & mortar MSN programs, too. I did a lot f reading up about EKU, and am convinced it's not only an overlooked gem/ quality education, but it warm and welcoming compared to some others. They have a 100% pass rate for some student groups, I think all APNs. That's more than most schools, and more than the fanciest school I have as back-ups. Looking forward to registering this week. But worried about keeping up FT. I'm worried about going FT, but it appears PT is longer but not much slower! I don't have needy little kids nor spouse, but I do live alone and keep up my antique house and 3 little dogs. I think structure, structure, structure is going to work better than willing myself to be disciplined. Having had online learning before, I know how to create structure for myself.

She has told me that FT is very doable since the classes are one at a time even enrolled full time unlike most I the schools. As far as board pass rates for the online program there aren't bat numbers yet bc an online class hasn't graduated yet, only campus classes which they don't offer anymore. :)

Any follow up info on EKU MSN???
RHIA, RN
I am looking at EKU for a PMHNP program. I am wondering if you all had difficulty finding preceptors? I emailed the school and I was told that it is the students responsibility to find a preceptor. Stressful.

Dude or Rhia - did you end up applying and enrolling? I love the idea of one 8 week class at a time, and I've heard from lots of trolling that the professors and administrators are responsive, which is really important in an online program......if you have any updates, please let me know!
backtoschoolrn - do you currently attend EKU or graduate from there? did you do an online degree? if you have any comments or feedback on the program, please let me know. i'm interested in the fnp or pmhnp msn. thank you!!
