Edukan A&P2 summer session 3!!!

Published

I had been thinking about starting this thread all week and forgot about it. I guess the time has finally come! Class starts on Monday. I've been doing some of the ADAM labs to get ahead, but haven't done any of the "Beyond Adam" questions in the lab. I'm planning to start reading this weekend as well. Anybody remember what chapter A&P 1 left off with?

Come on everybody, let's make the next 6 weeks great, with lots of A's!!!

Yeah, it was hard. Last semester it seemed like the tests got easier towards the end. I was hoping that would happen this semester. I'm just glad there's only 3 tests left!

I took the unit test yesterday, on the respiratory system. This was one of the test that I went into having alot of confidence. I had read the chapter twice, did great on the review questions (1 wrong) and thought I would get an A. I got a 64!!!! I'm so mad at myself. I'm thinking of asking him to regrade it, lol. Last time it didn't do any good tho, he said it was right. How did everyone else do?

Sheri Ann,

I thought that was the hardest test yet. I somehow got an 84, which was a lot lower than I thought. I studied more for this unit because it seemed more complex to me and I did worse than I usually do. :o Oh well. I don't understand how he doesn't do or say anything when the class does poorly on a unit. Most bio teachers that I've had would review the material again (and TELL US WHAT WE GOT WRONG...still mad about that) so we actually learned it the right way. Mel

I totally agree! I thought this was a better way to take classes, but with no feedback we aren't helping ourselves! I wish I could know what I got wrong to go back and find the right answers! Oh, well, I guess I should make time to read it again & be sure I understand it.

When I e-mailed him last weekend I wrote a really long e-mail about that. Be sure to put it in your next survey - don't they do one at the end of the class?

Yes, there is an end of course survey. I put it in there last time and I'll do it again this time! lol

Hey ladies!

I just took the unit 6 exam...the good news is the last 10 questions I had were straight from the book. The bad news, is I still have no idea which 3 questions I missed. Since it worked for me last week, I decided to email him again! The worst he can do is delete it! ;) Goodluck!

Well, that's good news! In a way, I guess they are getting easier :) Last exam I had 6 questions from the review questions. I'm still trying to read through the chapters, it seems at the midway point, I always slow down!

Hey Guys,

how is everyone doing? good I hope.. Almost over-YEAH! does anyone know if Simmons averages up? Im so right there on an A, and want to know if he does or not..

thanks!

I'm glad that unit is behind us! I came out with an 80 on the test, but it sure was alot of reading! Onward I go!

I'm not sure about the rounding up, I didn't think so, anyone else??

Do you mean if you've got an 89.7 (my current grade) will he round it to a 90? I think so...make that, HOPE so! According to my spreadsheet (yeah, I'm kinda anal...) I need a 40 or better on both tests to hold an 89.5, so anything better than that would keep it. I'm probably going to do test 7 on Thursday, and if I get really ambitous I may try to do 8 on Saturday. I'll be out of town on Sunday/Monday, so we'll see what happens.

Goodluck everybody...we're almost done!

I want to take the next 2 tests soon, too. We're leaving on vacation 8/6 and the stress is killing me! lol.

Hi Guys

do u guys have a grade for the unit 6 exam posted yet? Mine is not, and not sure if he is behind on grading, for if he may have missed me somehow..
