Edison State College 2014

Hello! Is anyone applying for Edison(Lee campus) for fall of next year? I plan on applying in the spring for the evening program. I'm also in the process of finishing my last pre reqs and studying for the Hesi. I know the evening program is about 5 semesters but does anyone know if its shorter when all pre reqs are completed? So far I've gotten all A's in them. Thanks in advance

Orientation was LONG. They just summed up how the program was going to be tough and that we need to understand that we need to give 110% or we will not succeed.

I thought evening orientation was very laid back..there was a good vibe. I did get the feeling they are stressing we get our BSN very shortly after graduating, seems like hospitals are hiring and giving nurses a time frame to have their BSN by.

BSN talk already? They need to let us get through the regular program first lol. I work for LMHS and from what I hear they told the nurses it'll be a few years maybe like 5 or so before the BSN is preferred. Magnet status is in the works but a ways off.

orientation for the 19th is cancelled I'm so upset!

I'm really upset about it too. They waited till the last minute to have it and now there is no more time to reschedule it.

I know, I feel so disappointed. I feel like we are missing out on a lot of information, I was looking forward to orientation to help ease my stress and now I feel like I am going in blind-folded
