EC Community-Focused Nursing exam

I was going to ask the same question. I just registered for it yesterday, I have planned to take it on March 12th. hopefully by then someone will post what they thought of it.

omg, am about to take it too next month.

I took it. Passed with a C with no studying. This is my worst grade in my whole academic career and I really wish I had studied... oh well I got an A on the psych one!

Honestly I don't remember the questions, so sorry, but I guess this isn't very helpful!

But I am sure that if you study a little you can pass it!

So, did you take it? How was it? :) Also, have you taken the Research in Nursing? If I understand correctly, the last part of it is essay? How bad was it? :)

Yes. For me EC seems to be the right way to go. I really enjoyed the RN program. And for BSN I need to take 4 online classes, the rest of it I can study on my own and just take exams whenever I'm ready. Love it :)

I still need to get some Gen. Eds. done (I already scheduled Patho and Statistics for the next week). The program seems to be very doable, I think I can do it in a year with no problem.

My goodness, of all the courses to take as an exam, it has to be community focused nursing. The course is huge, the topics are numerous. Instead of EC offering it as an online course, they do courses like teaching across cultures which is totally doable as an exam. I wish EC would start offering community focused nursing as an online course! Soon. I have been studying for the damn course for months afraid to take it and fail it. Each month I forget what I studied before...on and on. Help. Can I wing this one? My GPA is really high at this time and will surely come plummeting with this course. EC allows us to take it at ST JOSEPH'S OF MAINE. but the class is so darn long 15 weeks! yikes.

how was research in nursing?
