Hi everyone! :)

I wanted to make a thread for all of us who are applying to the nursing program at EMU for fall 2018. If you don't mind sharing, please feel free to reply with your application point total and the program you applied to (traditional, second degree, or both) so we can get a good idea of the applicant pool this year. :)

I'll start with myself:

I applied to both programs and selected the second-degree preference. I have 445 points.

Good luck to everyone and may the odds be ever in your favor! ;)

Hi! I also applied to the second degree program with 442 points.

I emailed Kathy this morning and she said letters are going out today!

Was looking forward to the long weekend, but now I am going to be anxiously waiting for this letter (which probably won't arrive until Tuesday!)

OMG!!!

Thank you for the info! I just called the nursing department for a second confirmation (I'm neurotic when it comes to this, lol!) and the woman on the phone also said that letters went out today!!! I'm so nervous and excited!

HI all. I also applied to both. And put 2nd bachelor as a priority. But I'm took most of my prerequisites at wcc, so I only had 424.

Does anyone knows if you get 2 different letters for the traditional and second bachelor? The letter I got only said bsn program, it didn't specify.

I ll call tomorrow to find out too. I hope this was just a rejection for the traditional prg.

I just got my acceptance letter to 2nd degree yesterday! I had a 445 score! So excited!

I got my letter Tuesday too! Accepted to 2nd degree program with 442 points. Excited to meet everyone in June!

Hi!

Got my acceptance letter May 31st! I applied to the traditional program with 477 points. Not sure what the cut off was.

Hey! I got accepted not to the traditional program or the wcc program, but the EMU-HFC Collaborative BSN Program. I have yet to find anyone else who is admitted to this program! Apparently 16 were admitted this year it's brand new.

Have any of you heard about it maybe some of your friends who also applied?

question for you all - where are you getting your drug test done?? all of the websites from my google search seem hokey and not legit - does anyone have a recommendation??

Concentra in Ann Arbor perhaps?

Does anyone know what the cutoff was (in terms of number of points) for the second degree program for 2018?

I just got my letter today and was admitted to the WCC-EMU collaborative program! does anyone know if your scholarship still applies for this program? I am on the Emerald scholarship
