Published

Hello! My graduation date is December 15, 2018. When is the earliest I can take the exam? I plan to take 2 weeks to study for the exam.

Hey there,

I graduated in august 8, and the earliest we could sign up was september 4. So approximately a month. Hope this helps :)

It really depends on when your school gets all required info submitted to the BON and when your ATT is issued. It varies by location- so there are no hard and fast rules.

Many factors effect when you can set a test date plus availability of testing dates in your area. My school didn't submit info to our BON until the university officially issued graduation which was about a month after we had finished classes. Virginia department of health isn't busy this time of year so we got our ATT same day. At the three closest testing centers there were a few open dates that week then more about 3 weeks later.

Really depends on when your transcripts and your application materials get sent in. They have to verify that you have passed your classes and that you've graduated. Processing applications can vary this time of the year for each board.
