Do they call you and offer you a date for CPNE or do they email you or use the message center?

No question is dumb except the one you don't ask!! I can't wait to get where you are at!!
My advice: Learn patience.....the waiting for a date really sucks and I am an extremely impatient person....so its really bad. I have only been waiting for 13 days so far and I'm about to pull my hair out.
You will get there.....I got here in 9 months, it was hard but doable.

They send you the package via email.
Just to offer you a date? If so, that's good, means I won't have to worry about missing the call.....we are heavy duty call screeners at my house....too many telemarketers.
I email the girl at SPAC once a week.....to see if there are any cancellations, was offered 1 via phone 1 day after I became eligible but turned it down because it was Northside and I want Grady only. I hope SPAC is quick, she said based on scheduling, I will test sometime in the summer of 2012......but who knows what that means.....summer is over in August and I'd rather be done by June.

wow--offer came the day after you became eligible? I just checked my status and ALL my docs have been accepted except CPR and they are still waiting on my background check.... so hopefully I'll get a date in the next few weeks.
Well I impatiently called the day after to see if they had any cancellations available and there was 1....but I declined it. Now I wait impatiently and churn out care plans each day till I get the news. Just today, I've done 11 care plans today......I am sick of them right now and am going to escape from the house for a bit.
Oh wow--you ARE DETERMINED!! haha. I will start doing them once I start the online workshop, next month. I think 3 months of the workshop should be enough right??
Two months is perfect....don't know if I could handle 3 months worth or study.....There are only so many AOC to practice and learn. But - if you can only study on weekends, I can see it. But if you could study 2 hours a day, 6 days a week for 2 months....seems doable. I'd hate to suffer burn out and then neglect studying that last month....I'm shooting for 2 months because I know myself all too well!!!!! :)
Good thinking!! I can't really get into crazy study mode until my kids are out of school in June--so that will give me 2 months really of non stop study. I think I'll start the workshop in June and do June July and test in August (pending they have a date in August for me!!) So My CPR got rejected (not the right kind apparently) Booo

It will be 3 months of studying for me when I take the CPNE in a week and I'm finally to the apathetic stage--which is a good thing for me. Just want to get it over with. Lots of info to know and careplans, PCS forms, Narrative Notes to submit for practice so don't rush it. Definitely think 2 months is doable if you have more time than weekends to study though. Good Luck!

Nervous One-
Did they give you any idea of how far out testing was? I also applied for the south about 3 wks ago with ready date of June 18th. I said that I would test anywhere but honestly would prefer Savannah. I just want to get done this summer. I tried calling for the first time today and for some reason the girl was not connecting me right and I got disconnected twice so I will try to call back this afternoon.
