Hey everyone! I submitted my application to Duke University's ABSN program for fall 2013 a few weeks ago, so I wanted to get some conversation started! Is anyone else applying?!

Thanks, Laflaca! That was nice of you to wish us luck! There seems to be a discrepancy about when selected applicants will be contacted about interviews. When were you contacted?

Professorate, we will be notified on January 30th about interviews. In the past it was mid December.

Just to clarify, hopefulnurse24, we will need to wait for the Duke Days invite email until January 30th?

wow, they changed the timeline quite a bit this year....I got my interview invitation on 12/20 and had the interview in early February. Doesn't matter, it'll all work out :)

Hi Everyone! I also applied to Dukes fall ABSN program this year and am still waiting to hear anything. I have already recieved some acceptances from other schools, and am waiting on 2 others. I also don't have a lot of money to put down multiple deposits, so it's going to be a tough decision if I don't hear from Duke soon. I'm also waiting on Johns Hopkins. Anyone else in the same boat?

Annie, where did you get in? I'm still waiting to hear from Penn, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Marquette and NYU so I feel you on waiting! It's rough!

Hi hopefulnurse24! Sounds like we applied to some of the same programs. I'm still waiting to hear about Duke, JHU, and Upenn. Have you heard back from any schools? I just had my interview with Upenn on Monday, and she said we would know by early February. But in the meantime, I'm going to go forth with UW--just in case I don't hear back from other schools. Why can't everyone just be on the same page?! ha
