Just want to make a forum for the Duke Nurse Residency Program. Applications are open now, and will close Feb 28th 2016.

I sent in my app, and it has changed to "forwarded to hiring manager". Has anyone else had that change?

What part of Massachusetts are you coming from and what unit did you accept an offer for? I interview on March 15 for the CTSICU and at first their was a Heart Center Open House that day but I just got told that they cancelled that which makes me wonder if they have already made a lot of offers for that unit. I am trying not to get my hopes up too much but I really want Duke and look forward to moving to NC from MA!

Absolutely relieved but have to get down there but next month! (Yikes) I am coming from the Berkshires and will be working on the Adult Medical/Step-Down Unit (4300)

I wouldn't read into the cancellation too much-just hospital politics. Good luck on the 15th and please let me know if I can be of help in anyway

I called HR and they said there was no one I could be forwarded to! That I would just have to wait to hear back from my recruiter [emoji58]

Hi guys, congrats to everyone who has heard already! I'm coming from NYC and I applied super late for the feb 28th app (like 2 or 3 days before the closing date), but then applied for the one they posted next for march 31st right away, so I'm not sure if they have already moved onto reading March apps or still are working on the Feb deadline ones. just wondering for people who got interviews, did you do anything to follow up after submitting the application like call HR or anything? Also, if I apply multiple times do you think that keeping the same 2 specialty choices is a good idea? Any advice is appreciated!!

You must be pumped! I won't be there until March 29th and I am hopeful that I will start on April 4th (as long as my NC license comes through). May I ask where you are living? Not to be creepy I just am trying to get the lay of the land.
