Hey ntd16! First congratulations on the position! I also just accepted a position on the CT ICU with a start date of August 8th and I'm relocating from Massachusetts. I know during my shadow and interview people told me to look at townhouses in Brier Creek that were really nice and not too far from the hospital. I just emailed the woman I interviewed with yesterday because she said she may be able to help find me a roommate! I'm so excited to be working at Duke too!

Hey aluv4health! What part of Massachusetts are you coming from and what unit did you accept an offer for? I interview on March 15 for the CTSICU and at first their was a Heart Center Open House that day but I just got told that they cancelled that which makes me wonder if they have already made a lot of offers for that unit. I am trying not to get my hopes up too much but I really want Duke and look forward to moving to NC from MA! Congrats on the offer! You must be so relieved!!

Hey Guys, I'm also graduating in May with my BSN. I go to school in Maine but I'm from Massachusetts, so I will also be relocating if offered. I got asked to interview for the CT ICU. However, with school the only time I could find to go down for my interview is not until my spring break. I'm shadowing for 2 hours and then have my interview on March 15th. This also happens to be the day of the Duke Heart Center open house. Getting a position at Duke is my dream job and I'm excited to even have an interview. I am a little nervous since the interview is still a month away. If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it! Congrats to you all that have already received offers!!
