I kind of tried to search this but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, (sorry if this is a repeat thread)
I applied to the Duke ABSN program, and I've got an interview comming up. Anyone have any advice? Anyone gone through the whole process of applying, or the program? I really love what I've seen of Duke so far - and want to go there!
I haven't been able to find any statistics either (average grades, how many apply, get interviews, get accepted).
I interviewed on the 25th and haven't heard anything yet either, it's driving me nuts! I've been checking my email a hundred times a day. Hopefully we will hear something soon!

I also interviewed on the 8th and am anxiously waiting to hear. I had to leave part of the Q&A session early so I just emailed melissa to ask when we should hear if we got accepted and she said that "We are working to make final decisions right now. You should hear within the next couple of weeks, possibly sooner."
I hope its sooner than later!
I don't remember who posted it, but the person who found out online they were accepted. How did that happen? Did you get an email saying your decision is online?

Yeah, I'm curious too, because some people got accepted right after their interviews!
One person posted a week or two ago that they had a phone interview on a Friday, and then got an email on Tuesday telling them that their admission status was available for them to view on their Duke account.
I emailed Melissa to ask her how everyone would be notified (since I sent in a paper application I don't have an account set up) and she said that everyone would be notified via email about admissions decisions, regardless of how they applied.
She also told my group on the 25th that we should hear by the end of February or possibly sooner. After looking at past posts from last year's class though, it seems like a lot of people found out this week last year, so it wouldn't surprise me if that is also the case for this year. We'll find out soon enough I guess!
I interviewed back in January and found out on Tuesday... So, don't worry; I think they just work their way through all the applicants. Melissa had told me to expect an answer sometime in the first part of March at the latest.
Hoping the best for all of you... I know what it is like to check my email a hundred times a day!

Has anyone else heard from Duke yet? I'm still waiting! :uhoh21:
