Hi everyone!
I read through posts from previous DUSON ABSN cycles while completing my application and they were very helpful, but I noticed there were no new posts for the current application cycle, so I thought I'd start one.
Just submitted my application and am super nervous!
Anyone else here apply? Let's be antsy together! ?

hahahahah OMG the strugggggle. ?
duke days is literally next Friday. if I haven't heard from jhu by then, I'd probably just assume I was rejected and withdraw my application (can't get rejected if you reject them first). /s
I love how we're lowkey discussing jhu on the duke forum.

The process is just the layout of the program and how everything works. Is it different than I expected? No but that’s because I didn’t come from a healthcare background and I didn’t know what to expect so I was game for anything. I personally didn’t find the adjustment hard but I can’t speak for everyone in my cohort.

I'm anxiously waiting on financial aid/scholarship decisions, so I'm curious about how you and other students are affording the program. Are you mostly relying on loans or paying out of pocket? The PDF they emailed me gave a cost breakdown of $92,964 for just tuition. ?
From my understanding, Duke’s nursing school does not provide 100% tuition in scholarships. Everyone in my cohort that I’ve talked to about money (which is not many) has some sort of loan be it federal, private, or both.

Anyone know how many students will be in our group? There were 380 applicants but how many of us made it?
