Thread for the incoming 2019 Duke ABSN applicants so we can help each other out through the application process.

Update: for anyone who had the issue I stated above, call the admissions office as soon as you can so they can manually mark your application as "ready to review". For some reason, their self-service portal doesn't take into account that official transcripts aren't required from applicants yet. Without the "ready to review" annotation, the school will not consider your application. Good luck to you all!

Yes, I was confused as to whether or not they were necessary so I sent them just in case

Is there any interview for the ASBN program.

The website says "interviews are not required for admission" so I am assuming they're not offered

I applied for the program on Dec 1 just hitting the cut-off. I have a marketing background and currently a project manager for a large company based in Philly. I have a 3.2 undergrad GPA and a 4.0 pre rec. This is my first choice obviously but it doesn't seem like we will hear anything back for a while.

Likewise with it being my 1st choice, but I still cannot get myself to fully justify the cost.

Taking a trip in the meantime to help distract me from this waiting. ?

works in service industry, but no healthcare experience
