Duke ABSN Fall 2014 Hopefuls

I applied to the Duke SON ABSN program for the Fall of 2014. Anyone else out there who is applying for the same cohort? I saw that last year, the applicants got their interview/Duke Days letters at the end of January... hopefully we'll hear back soon! Good luck to everyone!

Got my invitation to Duke Days today! Does anyone know if its possible to do a phone or Skype interview? It's rather expensive to fly out from California

Hi everyone,

I was also extended an invitation for Duke days! I'm on the same page as mewei though, wondering if anyone knows anything about the possibility of a skype interview? Money's a little tight right now and a flight from LA is not cheap!

In the past they have let some people do a skype interview. So it doesn't hurt to ask. However, Duke Days involves more than just the interview, so I know they highly encourage everyone to attend in person.

I've got an interview at Duke as well! I'm flying down from Minnesota, so I'm looking forward to the warmer weather (It is -6 degrees here last night). I think I will go to the Feb 28th date. Does anyone want to get together for dinner or something after interviews?

Hey guys, I got an interview too. I have been looking for a duke thread.. it didn't show up on my search bar? odd. Luckily I saw one of you post in the 2013 one. I live in seattle wa.. i'm definitely begging for a phone or Skype interview. an applicant last year did a Skype interview. I would love to go if I had the money..

I haven't seen anything in my inbox yet. I am really nervous. I want to know what do they look at when they decide to send an invite for an interview. I HOPE I get good news before the end of this month. My heart is beating so fast!! Congrats to those who got an invite!
