Drexel University ACE Program Fall 2011 Start

Has anyone applied to the Drexel University ACE Program for the Fall 2011 start? I recently applied and have sent my transcript. Please feel free to post anything about the program and/or the Fall 2011 start.

Yes, priority was the Oct 15th date.

I spoke briefly to Tina today to ask her a question about pre-reqs and she said to email her because she would be busy all day doing "Instant Decision".. don't know what that means, but kinda gets me excited/nervous... We'll see. I'm hoping for word sooner than December, but was originally told to hear by 3rd week in December. Best of luck to all.

I don't think the instant decision is for nursing - here is the info on it and at the bottom ACE nursing is listed as one of the ineligible programs

They also said that they get about 1000 applications and have spots for 180 for the fall and 80 for the spring... :/

Really. cause I thought I read in an article that they take over 200. But best of luck, hopefully we will be hearing from them soon. I wonder how they decide how many to take? If they only take a certain amount of applicants that applied before the deadline, then waitlist the rest and then look at the other applicants??? Any thoughts?

Hey, I still haven't received anything by mail and my status still reads "under review". I applied in July, so I'm hoping to hear soon. I looked on another blog and last year people started posting responses on the Nov 25th through the middle December. Maybe people will start hearing back next week.... This is driving me crazy....:uhoh3:

yeah, mine still says under review as well. Hopefully they will make decisions within the next week or two.

i applied in august because i thought that by applying early, they would review my application early...i was wrong. it has officially been a month since they were due and waiting is driving me insane. i'm getting worried because hundreds of people are denied...if anyone hears anything, let us all know!

yeah I know it is crazy. I looked at last years posts and some people put that their gpa's were as low as 3.14 and pre-req's gpa's as low 3.2 and they were accepted. But I guess it all depends on the other applicants and how high the bar will be set. The earliest respones last fall were Nov 25th, thats next week. Best of luck..If I don't get in I'll be really upset, Drexel is my 1st choice & the only place I applied!!!
