  1. I just visited last week. Our classes will probably be at the center city campus, around 15th and race, or around hahnemann hospital. Hope that helps!
  2. I called Tina Heuges today and was able to find out a lot about applications. They started looking at them a week ago and are going by when you applied I guess since she said mine was near the top of the pile and I applied in August. Unfortunately, I'm up for review since some of my pre-reqs are not as good as others. You should call her because she got back to me the same day I left a voicemail and could give me a lot of info on the status. Also, regarding those who applied to La Salle, I haven't actually found any info on their site about a second degree bsn program, is that what you applied for?
  3. i applied in august because i thought that by applying early, they would review my application early...i was wrong. it has officially been a month since they were due and waiting is driving me insane. i'm getting worried because hundreds of people are denied...if anyone hears anything, let us all know!
  4. All I'm saying is that I go to penn state main campus. You all may think it's a joke school or a party school and that is not the case. Our science program and classes here are no joke and are affectionately termed "weeder classes", meaning basically, you have to really want to be in a science major here. Most of the prereqs that Drexel requires are in this fun category and you really work for your B in the class. Even the same classes at other branches have been called easy compared to this campus. I hope I'm not offending anyone, I'm just saying my science classes here are challenging and I am not a slacker or dumb, I work hard and so do others and A's are not easy to come by.
  5. I understand that part. I'm just saying I'm hoping they consider it, the level of difficulty of a class at community college is different from a 4 year university.
  6. I thought applying early would help but I guess not since they won't start looking at applications until after the deadline. I'm finishing the last of my pre reqs this fall. I have a 3.3 in my last 60 credits so I hope they look at that. Out of curiosity, where did some of you take your prereqs or get your bachelors from? Some of my prereqs are not amazing so I'm hoping they look at where you went because some schools are harder than others.
  7. I keep checking a lot as well but I'm only about 1 week into waiting. My cumulative GPA is only 2.84 which isn't nearly as high as everyone else's apparently. My GPA in the last 60 credits is a 3.3 though so I'm hoping that they see that I do technically meet their requirements. I also sent in my resume so they can see that I am a registered EMT, even though they said they won't look at them. I'm hoping that they look at where your undergrad came from too, since some schools are clearly more difficult than others. I'm really nervous that I won't get in because I really want to go to Drexel.
  8. Thanks for responding everyone! I am going into my last year of undergrad in Biobehavioral health, it's a mix of bio, psych, and research. I'm probably going to apply to West Chester's program too. I was thinking about applying to Jefferson's FACT program but they already told me I should think about the two year program. I wanted to apply to Temple, but I'm not crazy about the area, it's not in the best part of Philly. There's also Duquesne, Pitt, and Villanova that I'm thinking about. Also, one thing about them looking at the applications now. I called Fran and she said they won't look at them until after the deadline (Oct. 15), so I'm not sure if you all had heard the same thing/if that's really true.
  9. So, I just applied a week ago. They already received one of my transcripts but the other one is going to take a while since it's from a class I took in high school and it's only for one prereq. I thought I was applying early but it seems some of you applied in the beginning of the summer. Have any of you heard back yet? And if you don't mind me asking, what is your cumulative GPA and GPA in the last 60 credits? My cumulative is a tad below 3.0 but in the last 60 credits it's 3.3. I'm so nervous and I've read other threads and saw bunches of people that didn't get in. I guess I won't be able to relax until I found out yay or nay.
  10. Hi everyone, I've been reading tons of posts about this program and it really helps a lot so thanks to you all. I wanted to know if anyone here graduated from Penn State or took prereqs there because I am wondering about the developmental psych prereq. Also, for people who are starting this fall, how early did you apply? I just applied, I know I am jumping the gun a bit but I'm worried I won't get in because my cumulative GPA is only 2.84 but I have a 3.3 in the last 60 credits.
