Hey everyone, I have been accepted finally!!! They put my application on hold & wanted to see my Fall 2010 transcripts because I have A&P II, microbiology, & chemistry left. How is everyone paying for school??

Hey, my status changed, now reads, "Your application is currently on hold and may reflect the need for additional documentation." I spoke to Fran and she told me that a decision will not be made until I send my Fall 2010 grades! I'm currently taking Abnormal Psy, Nutrition, and A&P II. I withdrew from Chemistry and will be taking that in the Spring, along with Micro. I guess I have too many classes left for them to make a decision. I applied in July, have an acc. gpa 3.04 and pre-req 3.8. Did anyone else run into the same thing?? I hope this doesn't screw my chances and I hope withdrawing from Chemistry doesn't hurt me. Any thoughts?

yeah I know it is crazy. I looked at last years posts and some people put that their gpa's were as low as 3.14 and pre-req's gpa's as low 3.2 and they were accepted. But I guess it all depends on the other applicants and how high the bar will be set. The earliest respones last fall were Nov 25th, thats next week. Best of luck..If I don't get in I'll be really upset, Drexel is my 1st choice & the only place I applied!!!

Hey, I still haven't received anything by mail and my status still reads "under review". I applied in July, so I'm hoping to hear soon. I looked on another blog and last year people started posting responses on the Nov 25th through the middle December. Maybe people will start hearing back next week.... This is driving me crazy....

Hi, I applied in July. I have a B.S. in Marketing with a 3.04 GPA and my pre-req GPA so far is 3.8. I'm currently taking 3 classes this fall and I will be taking Chem and Micro in the Spring. I read on one of the blogs, a lady with a 3.14 acc. gpa and a 3.5 pre-req' was accepted last year. Hope this helps, I guess it really just depends on the other applicants and how many they will accept from the priority deadline and how many spots they will be saving for the others.

Really. cause I thought I read in an article that they take over 200. But best of luck, hopefully we will be hearing from them soon. I wonder how they decide how many to take? If they only take a certain amount of applicants that applied before the deadline, then waitlist the rest and then look at the other applicants??? Any thoughts?

Hi, I spoke to a recruiter and they said if you applied prior the priority deadline that you will receive notification no later than the first week of December. I have never heard of comparative anatomy but it has to be human anatomy and physiology both with a lab or anatomy & physiology I & II. It depends on how your school has the classes set up. Hello, I'm currently taking developmental psy online. I attend Delaware County Community College. My professor is pretty organized. The course is divided into units. Each unit(about 3-4 chapters) is due about every 2-3 weeks. The unit includes 2 forum questions and you must respond to 3 other students, quizes on each chapter, and 2 case studies. There is also a film report, that you must tie into one of the units that we learned. It takes me about maybe 5-6 hours to complete that work. I usually spend one day on it and turn it in a week before its due. I love online classes, you can do the work at your leisure. I have a 94 in the class so far, not bad for only 1 full day worth of work. Hope this helps. Brandee

Ok, I will post as soon as I hear something. If you don't mind me asking what are your accumlative gpa and pre-req gpa's like? My B.S Marketing degree is from Rutgers and I graduated with a 3.04. My current gpa for the pre-req's is 3.8 and I have to take Micro and Chemistry is the Spring, than I'm finished with the pre-req's. Does anyone know anyone who was accepted in the past and what the gpa's were like? Thanks, best of luck to everyone.
