I got accepted to Drexel ACE program .
But  have the following concerns:

-Where are the clinical sites  where I will practice as a student nurse?
- Does I need a car to my clinical sites?

Any information greatly appreciated

Clinical sites are throughout the Philly area, Jersey, and Delaware. They don't take your residence into account when assigning your clinicals. You CAN get by without a car, but you'll be hustling to find a carpool every time clinical assignments are posted. If you have a car, I would suggest having it with you if possible. It's possible without it, but will be so much less of a headache with it!

I understand this may be a more private question so you don’t have to answer, but those who have gotten accepted into Drexel, how much did they say they would give you in financial aid? I still haven’t gotten anything yet and knowing how much I would have to pay is a big factor in deciding where I’m gonna go.

It's important to understand that you may be awarded the different  amount of federal aid based on different criteria such as income.
However, I received $6,250 for Spring and Summer semester = $12,500 for the year.
Total tuition cost and fee, $29,500 excluding Boarding.

Thanks for letting me know! That definitely makes me feel a little better

Were these grants and scholarships? Or were these federal loans that they offered?

I will be giving up my seat at Drexel and attending Jefferson instead. Hopefully this opens up a seat for anyone currently on the waitlist. Good luck!

Thanks for the insight on this. Do you know if there are any scholarships that the ACE students will be eligible for? I too am trying to figure out finances. How long did it take to hear back from FASFA?

Hey! I know this question was directed to Victoria but just wanted to share some insight. My financial aid package had all loans - no grants or scholarships even though my EFC is close to 0. Many scholarships do not apply to us because it's a second bachelors. Usually scholarships apply to first time bachelors or grad level applicants. Kind of sucks ? I'm sure there are scholarships without this requirement - maybe career change scholarships? It's just a bit harder to find, but they are def out there. Not sure how long it took to hear back from FAFSA, but I was accepted early Dec and just recently checked my drexel portal and saw my financial aid package.

I just graduated from this program in September. Lmk if anyone has any more questions!

Hi! I was recently accepted and am trying to decide upon two programs. Do you feel as though Drexel set you up well to find a job post grad? And where did you complete your clinical rotations?

Also likely giving up my spot. FYI, my financial aid package had the standard subsidized/unsubsidized loan total at 12,500 for the year. Without those loans or COL, the tuition is $57,300. Their COL is almost $6k per quarter.
