Do you live pretty close to campus? Also, do you know the Groupme link? I deleted my fb account a couple years ago and don’t feel like making a new one LOL

Thank you! I received it back in June!!

The only social media link allowed within the Terms of Service, is a facebook link.

Or, you may create a new "Club" for your cohort, by clicking on the Breakroom link in the upper left-hand corner of the yellow bar.  Then follow directions to Create A New Club, in the green bar at the top of the page.

We wish you all success in your Nursing program! ?

I live really close to the Center City Campus since that's where the majority of nursing classes would be if they were in person (and where all the labs are). I think I'm like an 8 minute walk away which is really nice. A lot of people live out by the main campus in University City and use the provided shuttle service to get to the Center City campus.

Oh okay!! Thank you for the insight ? I’m not familiar with the Philadelphia area at all so that info was super helpful!

Sounds good! I hope to get in touch with some people that will be a part of the Spring cohort!

How much is the program total cost?

Approximately $56,000. Their website has the complete breakdown so I would check that out!

Thank you! Was honestly shocked to get into both places I applied LOL (especially since this was AFTER being rejected by two ADN programs)

I had no W's but did have to retake quite a few pre-reqs. However, the first time I took them all I also had As/Bs, but my classes had 'expired' for both schools to use.

I'm not close with anyone who's been in the program but I've casually talked to a few people. General consensus is that it's tough and moves quickly, but that's to be expected for an 11 month program. Everyone knows how they learn/progress best. For me, I loved taking harder courses during short Summer semesters because I work well under that sort of pace, so this program seems like a good fit for that.

Also HAPPY to keep you updated as I start the program to give real time reactions LOL

NYU was and has always been my dream school so it was hard to turn down, but at nearly double the price of Drexel it was definitely difficult to justify. Plus, I figured a year in a new city could be fun and I'd always wanted to come to Philly. Drexel also has some state of the art sim labs that are a good pull. But it was mostly the price that swayed me, and even then it took a lot of debate/soul searching LOL

Where else are you planning to apply for Fall?

I share similar experience got accepted to both NYU and Drexel. I’m from NYC and was my dream to attend NYU  but cannot afford the tuition cost.  I choose drexel because of the 11 month length of the program and cheaper cost even moving to Philadelphia

When does the fall 2021 program end exactly?

I know its super early to be looking at housing, but I was wondering what people are leaning towards, on or off-campus? I rather do off campus as long as I find some roommates because the 1 bedrooms are a little pricey.

Hi!! Same here, I’ve been trying to get in touch with people so I can find a roommate or roommates

there is a facebook for the fall 2021 cohort that has a few people in it.. Like I said, it's super early!! when I moved a few months ago I was hoping to not have to do a lease per bedroom and find roommates ahead of time, but I was unable to do so and 100% do not want to do that again
