Drexel ACE Program (Fall 2021)

Hey, guys its a bit early but wanted to open a chat so we could all talk about the Fall 2021 ACE program (11 months) at Drexel University! Feel free to share stats, questions, concerns, and more!

Hey all for those who are still taking pre-req courses, I had thought I turned in my application on 10/9 with the exception of my transcript from 1 pre-req course and was told my application was complete. That course finished the end of October, then I submitted the official transcript on 11/11.  Today I was told my application was not complete until 11/11 instead of the 10/9 date that I originally received the email for stating it was complete so for those that have remaining pre-req's and have not heard back, this is probably why!

I actually emailed -------------------------- today and she said applications will still be considered as long as 3/4 science prereq. classes are completed!!

I emailed her today as well and she said that my application date is now 11/11 because they are not complete until all transcripts have been received. I am confused though because I got an email from admissions on 10/9 stating my application was complete after I sent in a proof of course in progress for the pre-req course.

yeah this whole thing is very confusing.... hopefully we both get in LOL!

"Students can be considered for admission before completing all of the prerequisite requirements.  To receive an admissions decision students must have the completed Anatomy and Physiology sequence and either Microbiology or Chemistry, all with labs, at time of application. All prerequisite requirements must be completed by the prerequisite deadline of August 1st, 2021 for the Fall 2021 term."

Don't mind at all! It was developmental psych, all of my sciences are complete.  I took the course through Utica College from august-oct (8 week accelerated format). I don't know if it got a little tricky because I listed Utica as a college I attended but the dates attended were listed as august 2020-oct 2020 and as I said before, I sent in like a proof of course in progress and within the discover portal it said complete and an email on 10/9 said application complete as well.

I got the same email too. I still have courses in progress until December so I guess I have to wait until then once I have submitted an official transcript ughh so annoying! I sent in a progress report but I guess they are waiting for an official document ?

so we won't get an acceptance letter until all of our prereqs. are done? that's literally so annoying!!

She answered me with this, "Students must have the completed Anatomy and Physiology sequence and either Microbiology or Chemistry, all with labs, to receive an admissions decision. All other prerequisite requirements must be completed by the prerequisite deadline of January 15th, 2021 for the Spring 2021 term, August 1st, 2021 for the Fall 2021 term, or January 15th, 2022 for the Spring 2022 term." 

I think we'll be fine and we should get news soon!
