Drexel ACE Fall 2018

Published

Hey Everyone.

I wanted to start this for anyone who is applying or did Drexel's ACE program before.

I got accepted into the Fall 18 program. Im still contemplating if I'm going to accept because I am waiting on another school. I also still have to take Microbio and Nutrition. If anyone has done the program already please drop some comments below! Thanks

Bachelor's Gpa - 2.93

Chem - A

A&P 1&2 - B

Developmental Psych - A

Nutrition & micro - haven't taken yet

What is the total cost of this program?

@samivoss1 The same exact thing happened to me. I sent in my application before the deadline, but one of my transcripts wasn't received until 11/21... so I still haven't heard back yet. Have you?

I haven't heard anything either, and I submitted everything well before the Oct. 15th priority deadline. I submitted an inquiry and they responded that they are still reviewing applications.

When is the deadline to apply?

I don't know if it's still relevant, but I personally didn't apply until just before New Year's and just heard back (accepted!), had to check the status page as they didn't send any email notification

Hi!

I was accepted into drexels ace fall 2018 program and was wondering how people were going about getting housing/apartments near the area.

Hi guys,

I recently just finished applying to Drexel's ACE program and received the email today that my application is under review. I do have a few questions and was wondering if anyone can help me.

-Does anyone know if the class is full yet and if they are still accepting students for fall 2018?

-What do you think my chances are of getting in with my stats

Bachelor's degree based on last 60 credits as I took credits at community college after to retake some courses CGPA: 2.9

Prereqs: English - A

Developmental psych - C

Nutrition - B-

Chemistry - A or C+ (depends on which Drexel accepts)

AP1 - A

AP2 - B+

Microbiology - *pending as I'm currently taking that now*

Stats - (depends on if which stats class Drexel takes) either A or C-

-So I took Chemistry at Temple and it was General Chemistry and received a C+ in that. After I graduated I retook Chemistry at Community College and received an A in it but at CC it was called Chemistry A so would Drexel accept the CC chemistry?

-For stats, it's a little more complicated. At Temple, I took Precalc for business and for us it was a subject under STAT 1001 received an A in that class. Next I took Elements of Stats and received a C-. I know Drexel only allows for grades of C or higher in order to transfer, however do you think it would be acceptable for them to accept my Precalc for business class since it was a STATS class at Temple?

I know I have so many questions but I'm looking for career change and have been applying to other schools within the past 3 years and kinda losing hope at this point on getting accepted anywhere.

Hi everyone! I'm a little on the late side but I just applied and sent in my transcripts today... does anyone know if they're still accepting applications for the fall? It said online that everything has to be in by August, does that mean you can apply up until then?

Well, it's on a rolling basis now, until the class is full, but not sure how we would know whether there are any spots left. Maybe I'll try calling next week! I am planning on applying for Spring 2019 entry at this point, though.

To all applying later, don't stress too much. I applied in Jan 2017, denied for not having enough prerequisites done. Completed some and wrote an appeal letter. I was accepted, I think in April, to the Fall 2017 program. I am getting ready to end Q2. It's quick, but that is really the only thing hard about it. There is just little time to absorb the information. If you can learn quick, you will be fine, if not, you will just spend your free time studying. Anyone who WANTS to make it through will. Good Luck everyone!

Hi all! I applied for the Spring 2018 program and got accepted but then decided to pull my application and apply to the Fall 2018 program so that I could wait to hear back from the CA schools that I applied to. I luckily got in to Drexel again, especially considering that I applied only about 2 weeks ago. I am still waiting on the other schools, but I should find out within the next week or two. The odds don't seem to be in my favor though, so I am pretty confident that I will be attending Drexel!! Can't wait for a new experience, considering that I was born and raised in CA and have never experienced a true winter. I look forward to meeting those of you who are attending in the fall :)

Hi TolDoll! I have been accepted into the 2018 Fall cohort. I am excited at this amazing opportunity and have heard a lot of great things about this rigorous program. I have a quick question for you - how many students were in your cohort? Did you feel that the student to professor ratio was okay?

thanks for your help!
